Lundi, j'ai une entrevue avec la compagnie Pixman de Montréal. J'ai rencontré son président à l'IIT avant mon départ pour Las Vegas et à la fin de la réunion, en privé, lui ai demandé s'il y avait une branche de Pixman dans la ville du cirque. Il m'a répondu d'emblée que cette branche ouvrira ses portes bientôt et qu'ils auraient besoin de gens. Dès mon retour, je l'ai contacté pour lui envoyer mon CV et lui et ses collègues l'ont trouvé intéressant. Ils m'ont rappelé cette semaine pour me demander de passer à leurs bureaux lundi. La nature du travail: je ne sais pas encore.
Quand on dit qu'on part à l'aventure, c'est ça! On prend ça un jour à la fois et les choses finissent toujours par s'arranger.
Helloooooooo! We're just back from an absolutely fabulous week in Perigord with the kids. It was one of the best holidays I've ever taken! What a magnificent part of France .... I want to live there or find something very similar back home!
We had no internet access while away which was perfect cuz Simon actually had to take a vacation! However, we certainly missed reading your blog and daily news and I'm sad to see that Nancy thinks it's become "boring" ... not at all. It's something I look forward to reading each morning when, after having dropped the kids off at school and returning home, I sit down to my computer with a nice hot cafe latte in hand and open up your blog! It actually makes me feel a part of your lives and I feel very blessed to have that. So, please, don't give it up!
Our blog should be updated tonight, so you'll have to take a visit to see our photos from Perigord!
And, Burt, I'll be thinking about you tomorrow during your meeting with Pixman ... break a leg!
Ha, that's funny because Nancy and visited France once when Sam was no bigger than a puppy. The region of France we visited and loved was Perigord! Lovely Dordogne.
Since then I have teased Nancy now and again with a very appropriate nickname: la Reine du Perigord, referring to her regal posture when we visited la cité troglodytique de la Madeleine. Great moments...
LOL! Homme sandwich à Végas. Il va bien falloir que j'essaie ce truc un beau jour mais je pense plutôt que le travail sera dans le domaine des opérations et/ou de la vente des services de Pixman. À suivre, plus que 5 heures avant l'entrevue...
